Community Matters

Helpful neighbours

A FLEDGLING group that is hoping to provide care and support for residents in Brookwood is looking for some money to set up.

John Mugridge has asked for £250 to help set up Brookwood Assisting Neighbours.

The purpose of the scheme is to provide help for villagers  of all ages who need assistance with any day-to-day tasks such as local transport, shopping, prescription collections and home visiting.

The group is hoping that with enough volunteers, it will be able to launch the scheme in the summer and help people living in the village.
