Access is the key to quality of life

A BUGGY to help elderly and disabled people access facilities in their area is the dream of one group.

Members of the Sheerwater Community Forum need £18,000 to buy and run a free buggy service five days a week.

Barry Pope, a member of the forum, said: “Sheerwater has a large population of elderly residents, many of whom rely on others for transport. We want to improve their quality of life.”

The buggy will run a circular route between set homes from Monday to Friday.
